TORONTO, Ont. — International Truck and Engine is gearing up for a dealership initiative to introduce a special low financing rate at automotive-inspired Miles Ahead events across the country.

All customers who attend for part of the two-day event on May 24 and 25 or those who pre-register at Internationals Miles Ahead website (www.milesaheadevent.com) – will be able to take advantage of this yet-to-be announced financing rate, which will be honoured until Oct. 31.

Were very excited to be bringing this Canada-only initiative to our customers, said Michelle Batista, dealer marketing manager for International. With the market landscape being what it is in 2007 we are confident that these events will create excitement across the trucking industry.

The full details of the financing offer are being closely guarded, and will not be announced to customers until the morning of the event.

International has announced that the financing offer will be available and applicable on stock and sold 2006, 2007 and 2008 model trucks ordered under an International sales program for the following vehicles: Prostar, CityStar (CF Series), Durastar (4000 Series),
TranStar (8000 Series) and 9000 Series Vehicles.

To-date, 75 dealership locations across Canada are scheduled to participate in the Miles Ahead initiative, and thus far more than 3,000 customers have registered online.
