LONG-HAUL DRIVE TIRE

Hankook Tire Canada says its new long-haul drive tire, the DL07, incorporates the latest compound, tread and casing-design technology to provide longer mileage and advanced traction performance.

It features extra-deep tread depth of 31/32nd in. for maximum removal mileage, an aggressive tread pattern to promote traction, and new casing construction for both durability and retreadability. In comparison with its predecessor, the DL01, the new tire’s wider tread design and deeper groove depth of up to 7% is expected to provide approximately 20% longer mileage, the company says.

The DL07 is available in 285/75R24.5 with 14-ply rating, and additional sizes will be introduced over the next 18 months, including 11R22.5, 11R24.5 and 295/75R22.5.

Hankook, incidentally, is the world’s seventh largest tire manufacturer.
