Manac has launched SmartHorizon, offering customers greater connectivity in partnership with ZF.

The company says the platform is not just a smart trailer, but a connected ecosystem. It features advanced telematics and integrated sensors to improve communication between the trailer and third-party accessories such as cargo monitoring systems, tire pressure sensors, or temperature control devices.

SmartHorizon provides data on cargo weight, location and status. It also offers predictive maintenance capabilities to reduce unplanned downtime.

Customizable interfaces allow fleet managers to configure the system to their own needs and set alerts. It incorporates ZF’s SCALAR fleet orchestration platform.
