MERITOR AFTERMARKET FRICTION
ArvinMeritor’s Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket (CVA) business recently introduced a new line of Meritor-branded aftermarket bulk friction and
remanufactured brake shoes and kits for Meritor independent aftermarket
distributors.
The new lineup includes four friction grades, including value (MV) and standard
(M20) 20,000-lb mixes, as well as standard (M23) 23,000-lb and combination (M25C) 25,000-lb mixes, for all popular truck, tractor and trailer applications.
Friction spec sheets, containing essential test and material data on all
mixes, are available from ArvinMeritor’s literature distribution center — at
800-387-3889 or www.xpresswayplus.com. Literature order numbers are: M20 (SP-04111); MV (SP-04112); M23 (SP-04113); and M25C (SP-04114).
ArvinMeritor says it now has a bulk friction and reman brake-shoe program to meet the needs of customers looking for both genuine OE friction and a lower-cost product that still offers quality and the backing of the Meritor brand name.
