Meritor WABCO releases new TOOLBOX diagnostic software

Meritor WABCO
Anti-lock braking systems have brought a raft of diagnostic challenges-and some very good high-tech solutions. ABS developer Meritor WABCO has released version 5.0 of its TOOLBOX software, a PC-based diagnostics program that tells technicians key information during ABS diagnosis.

TOOLBOX displays both active and stored system faults, as well as the appropriate repair instructions, and activates system components to verify their integrity, proper operation, and installation wiring. It works with hydraulic power brake systems with integrated ABS (HPB) as well as electronic leveling modules (ELM) for tractors and trailers. Also incorporated in this update is comprehensive service and repair information for tractor and trailer pneumatic ABS, as well as “add-on” hydraulic ABS (HABS). One of the most important improvements in Version 5.0 is the ability to download future revisions online via an FTP (file transfer protocol) site. TOOLBOX is distributed by SPX Service Solutions.
