New Gunite slack adjuster

Gunite has unveiled the Gunite 2000, a new slack adjuster specially designed for the latest long stroke brake chamber applications using a welded clevis or for applications using a clevis with a 1.3-inch pin center distance.
The company says the slack adjuster installs in half the time required for most other brands and does require external brackets or mounting hardware. This substantially reduces installation time and labor, which can mean a cost saving of up to 50% for installation alone, according to the company.
Gunite Automatic Slack Adjusters unique design maintains consistent shoe-to-drum clearance, which will help maximize lining life, reducing the amount of time spent annually on brake relining.
