New options for Kenworth T270 and T370

by Today's Trucking

Kenworth has unveiled several new options for its T270 and T370 medium-duty trucks.

Roll-back flatbed applications are now approved for use with the Kenworth AG210L single-axle rear suspension on either model. That 21,000-lb. two-bag, rear air suspension features a trailing arm design and provides a smooth ride, the company says.

Also available are CX chrome hood-mounted convex mirrors.

Another option to enhance visibility comes in the form of the Bendix side object detection system that increases the filed of view and enhances detection. Its range now stretches up to 20 feet forward and 20 feet behind the sensor’s location. Stationary objects are filtered at speeds above 30 km/h.

The Class 6 T270 has a 26,000-lb. GVW and is available as a straight truck, while the Class 7 T370 has a GVW of 26,001-66,000 lb and comes as a straight truck or tractor.
