Opti-Brite LED lamps offer array of mounting options
Optronics International’s Opti-Brite Diamond Series LED interior lamps are surface-mounted, dimmable, and can remember previous intensity settings.
The lamps can also be wired to operate manually or use passive infrared sensors to shine when they detect movement.
The diamond-shaped lamps include daylight LEDs that offer a color temperature that mimics natural sunlight. And at just a half-inch thick, they can be placed almost anywhere inside a vehicle, the company says.
The lamps come in two sizes. The 66-LED model ILL02 measures 13.5 inches and boasts an output of 2,000 lumens. The 36-LED model ILL03 measures just 6.7 inches, but still delivers 1,500 lumens. Snap-on trim rings are available for both lamp models and come in white, black and chrome finishes.
When it’s time to activate the lamps, users have four options – the SmartTouch with dimming and memory feature, infrared motion sensor, a manual switch, or no-switch design. A centrally located touch switch can control on, off and dimming functions.
The lamps should be available in the third quarter of this year.
