P.S.I. gives technology updates at TMC

P.S.I. International gave truck press an update during the spring meeting of the Technology & Maintenance Council.

It now has 2.2 million tire sensors in the marketplace and now logs about 7 million data points a day. With that many data points comes difficulty in filtering through what’s relevant for fleet users.

To that end, the company has revamped its user interface to make it simpler for fleets to manage. A new TireView Live TPMS portal color codes alerts. It also improves asset views so they can be easily filtered by location, type of alert or vehicle type.

“It’s a way to filter out all the noise and make it very easy to understand for our fleet users,” said Craig Smith, vice-president of marketing for P.S.I.

Additional news included integration with the Geotab Marketplace. This gives fleet customers another option for accessing their TPMS data. It can be viewed within the TireView Live portal or the Geotab platform using a single login.

P.S.I. also revealed it is the provider of Goodyear TPMS Plus sensors. The deal has been in existence for about three years but not yet announced. P.S.I. sensors are used to collect the tire data, which is then analyzed by Goodyear with insights provided to the fleets through its Goodyear TPMS Plus program.
