NEW INTERIOR FOR PETE 320
Peterbilt has unveiled the all-new ProBilt interior for its Model 320 low-cab forward truck, offering ergonomic improvements, system enhancements, and better outward vision. The interior underwent a floor-to-ceiling re-design, the company says, beginning with the new ergonomic dash layout. The new interior includes a large, multi-purpose center console with removable panels allow for easy installation and access to body controls.
ACCURATE MILEAGE CALCULATIONS
The launch of Telogis Miles is said to meet the transportation industry's demand for accurate mileage calculations in real time. Actual miles driven match actual in-cab miles when it's used in conjunction with the cloud-based Telogis location intelligence platform. Precise actual-cost management is easier this way.
WEIGH-STATION BYPASS
Zonar 2020 tablets will offer the GPS-based Drivewyze PreClear bypass service as of July in the U.S., which can "significantly" reduce time spent on weigh-station inspections. It will be available for use in Canada soon, though no timeline is set. Drivewyze PreClear meets U.S. federal requirements for electronic screening.
