Reefer liners fight mold and mildew

Liners in 2019 Great Dane Everest Reefer trailers are now treated with an antimicrobial product known as Microban, supporting requirements under the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Points (HACCP) standards.

The treatment is said to reduce bacteria and mildew that contribute to contamination, odor, and stains, and is standard with ThermoGuard and PunctureGuard refrigerated liners. Great Dane tests even found that microbial growth was 99.9% lower in trailers that featured Microban.
