SAF-Holland expands CBXA AeroBeam suspension lineup
SAF-Holland has expanded its CBXA AeroBeam fixed-frame trailer suspension lineup with the introduction of the CBXAS25 and CBXAS30 models.
The new suspensions complete the CBXA AeroBeam family, joining the CBXAN23 and CBXAS23 models launched in 2022. The lineup now includes 23,000-, 25,000- and 30,000-lb.-capacity suspensions designed for tanker, bulk haul, refrigerated, platform and specialty trailer applications.
The company says the CBXA AeroBeam Series is its lightest line of top-mount fixed-frame trailer air suspensions. The lightweight cast steel trailing arm beam delivers long service life while minimizing overall system weight, while an integral shock absorber design improves ride performance while enhancing undercarriage clearance and protection from road debris.

SAF-Holland said the suspension incorporates a tension-control pivot bolt that eliminates the need for routine re-torquing and helps reduce bushing, bracket and tire wear. The system also uses the SwingAlign axle-alignment technology, which allows axle adjustments without disassembly or replacement parts.
The CBXA AeroBeam Series comes standard with SAF-Holland’s P89 air disc brake and can be equipped with the optional P89 PSP7 air disc brake.
“Our commitment continues to be designing products that help fleets improve efficiency, durability and overall trailer performance,” said Lance Gage, senior product manager, trailer axles and suspension systems – Americas, at SAF-Holland.
