TRAILER DOLLY
DJProducts, Inc. has introduced a new unit for moving all types of large trailers. The new TrailerCaddy Extreme heavy-duty electric trailer dolly is designed to eliminate the use of a large tractor or yard truck to move empty OTR, lowboy, dropdeck, and other trailers up to 50,000 lb in and out of docks and yards. It also offers a "minimal" price tag.
It can spot and shuffle trailers anywhere and save time doing it, the company says, as anyone can use the dolly and there’s no need to wait for a tractor operator.
The powered dolly features a heavy-duty 36-volt motor generating what the maker calls an "enormous" amount of power. The hydraulically powered lift kit lifts tongue weight from 5000 to 15,000 lb, making it simple for the dolly to lift and maneuver any type of trailer.
It’s available with kingpin, ball hitch, and pintle attachment options.
