TRAILER SUSPENSION
The RAR-260 trailer air-ride suspension from Ridewell is available in both overslung and underslung configurations for 25,000- and 30,000-lb capacities.They’re manufactured with Securelok pivot nuts for maintaining pivot clamping force. The unitized nut, washer, and shim combination is highly resistant to loosening under vibration, the company says.
Additional features include: industry-standard Tenneco multi-functional bushings; integrated shock absorber mounting; pivot bolt requires only 500 lb ft of torque; axle alignment adjustment capability +/-.25 in. at hanger.
Mounting heights range from 14 to 18 in. for the RAR-260 overslung model and 5.5 to 9 in. for the underslung.
