Transflo offers fuel payments through digital wallet

by Today's Trucking

Transflo and Fleetcor have come together to create Transflo Wallet, an app-based cardless fuel payment offering.

The companies say freight brokers will be able to more easily send digital fuel advances to carriers and drivers through a secure and user-friendly app, streamlining fuel transactions. Conventional payment methods like cheques and plastic fuel cards are inefficient, costly, and susceptible to fraud, the companies claim in a press release.

Transflo Wallet offers a more modern mobile user experience and better visibility for brokers, the companies say.

“As we assessed longstanding issues in the industry, fuel payments emerged as the natural next step in extending our broker and carrier automation capabilities,” explains Renee Krug, Transflo’s CEO. “Our fuel solution builds on our connected digital ecosystem to empower our customers to overcome these challenges.”

Eric Dowdell, president of Comdata’s North American Trucking division adds, “Comdata has a deep commitment to reducing friction for the transportation industry. We’re excited to partner with Transflo to deploy our cardless payment APIs to bring brokers more transparency, control, and a more simplified driver experience.”
