FALCONER, N.Y. — Truck-Lite has released a new version of 44 LED strobe – the Super 44 LED Strobe. The new lamp, available in both red and amber versions, was designed with a durable synthetic rubber housing to resist the effects of corrosion.

Mounting externally to the vehicle, the lamp fastens on 5/16″-18 stud. The lamp contains a synchronized alternating feature, allowing users to select between dual, quad and alternating dual flashing patterns by altering the way each lamp is wired. This non-metalized reflector lamp has a wide field of view, similar to standard Truck-Lite Series 44 LED lamps, designed for construction, municipal, agricultural, snow plow, tow and many other applications.

Company officials say the high intensity lamps meet SAE J845 and J1318 photometric specifications and also save on cost and energy compared to conventional strobe heads. The internal strobe circuit is also designed to eliminate the need for external control module or special power supply and requires only the 12-volt input.

Like other Truck-Lite LED lamps, Super 44 Strobe lamps are made in the USA in QS9000/ISO9001/ISO14001 registered facilities. All electronics, including the diodes, are sealed in epoxy to withstand the severest road shock and vibration and prevent moisture from reaching the circuits.
