Truckstop launches Broker Assistant, Carrier Hub for freight brokers

Truckstop has introduced two new tools aimed at helping freight brokers move loads more efficiently while improving carrier vetting and risk management.

Carrier Hub consolidates carrier authority, insurance and FMCSA safety data into a single platform, with ongoing monitoring and configurable compliance rules. The company says the tool is designed to help brokers reduce fraud-related risks such as identity theft and double-brokering while providing access to private carrier networks, performance ratings and certificate of insurance data.

The launch comes as broker carrier-selection practices face increased scrutiny following the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Montgomery v. Caribe Transport II.

Truckstop also unveiled Broker Assistant, a free Chrome and Edge browser extension for its Load Board customers. The tool enables brokers to post and manage loads, source carriers and monitor market conditions without leaving their browser. It also includes “Ask Pat,” an AI assistant that can post loads, find carriers and deliver rate and risk insights using plain-language prompts.

Truckstop CEO Scott Moscrip said the new tools are intended to help brokers make faster, more informed decisions as fraud risks increase and margins tighten.
