Utility Adds Roll Stability

Beginning with orders received this month Utility Trailer has added roll stability protection from Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems on its 3000R base model refrigerated trailers as standard equipment. The company says it’s the first trailer manufacturer to include roll stability as standard fare on refrigerated trailers.

The company says it believes the technology is ready to begin integrating it as a standard, not an optional feature.

Utility is including the Bendix TABS-6 Advanced with Bendix Trailer Roll Stability Program (TRSP). The system combines anti-lock braking (ABS) with a set of trailer sensors, which monitor stability and can quickly and automatically trigger braking intervention when detecting conditions that may lead to a trailer rollover. It’s available in single-channel (SC) and optional multi-channel (MC) configurations.
