Wabco Toolbox Plus automatically populates data

by Today's Trucking

ZF has released the Wabco Toolbox Plus PC-based diagnostics software, featuring a “roll call” feature that automatically detects and populates information about Wabco systems on a vehicle.

Fault codes, repair and installation instructions, and maintenance manuals are just a click away. When more technical support is needed, the software pre-populates warranty forms with information such as vehicle identification numbers and fault codes.

Also included are aftermarket programming functions, which can be used on replacement electronic control units for Wabco truck ABS and the OnLaneAlert lane departure warning camera.

The latest software supports the current Wabco portfolio including intelligent ABS for trailers, the Modular Braking System Platform for trucks, and TailGuard reversing collision avoidance system.

Toolbox diagnostic software has been on the market for about two decades. Toolbox Plus offers automatic software upgrades, and is available through one-, two- and three-year subscriptions through Snap-On.
