“We are really excited about taking this next step into the future of electrification and demonstrating that we are an ideal partner for addressing the needs of electromobility,” said Michael Bauer, executive vice-president, Webasto Charging Systems. “Every battery needs to be charged, and the TurboConnect and TurboDX 2.0 Plug-In wallboxes offer a high-quality, high-performance solution for workplaces, fleets, dealerships and other public or private lots.”

Options and apps

The TurboConnect has Wifi, Bluetooth and ethernet connectivity options and offers 11.5 kW at 240 volts, adding up to 80 km of range per hour of charging, depending on the vehicle.

The ChargeConnect app assists with demand-optimized charging and a dashboard allows fleet managers to manage multi-charging sessions, check device status, and retrieve charging history.

The TurboDX 2.0 plug-in charger is optimized for cost-efficient and fast deployment. The wallbox charger can be installed without complicated setup. It produces 7.7 kW of charging power at 240 volts, giving a range of 27 miles (43 km) per hour, depending on the vehicle.
