Yokohama RY61 van tire ready for commercial use
Yokohama Tire’s BlueEarth-Van All Season RY61 commercial van tire is now available in three sizes and will see four additional sizes added to the lineup in early 2023.
All-season traction comes via the large center tread blocks, while performance on snow and ice is supported through the biting edges of 3D sipes.
The large center blocks and squared shoulder blocks also form a stable footprint to prevent irregular wear, the company says.
A geometric cube design on the sidewall is meant to protect cracks from forming, and the overall construction protects against bead and carcass wear in high-load applications. And the triple polymer compound lowers rolling resistance in the name of fuel economy.
