Yokohama showcases two new tires at TMC
Yokohama debuted two new tires at the Technology & Maintenance Council’s spring meetings, a 720R 19.5” for last-mile delivery applications, and a 121T design for trailers. The 720R is a 19.5-inch N-speed-rated deep tread drive tire available in 225/70R/19.5 size.
The 121T is a severe snow service-rated trailer tire available in sizes 215/75R/15.5 and 235/75R/15.5.
The two tires are rated for speeds up to 87 mph. The 720R has wide lateral diagonal grooves across the center rib for improved wet and snow traction, and a deep open shoulder lug provides high traction and combats regular wear, the company announced.
