T4C members help make affordable housing a reality

by Truck News

WATERLOO, Ont. – Member carriers with Trucks For Change Network (T4C) will be donating their time and skills Sept. 20-22 to help make affordable housing in the Kitchener-Waterloo region a reality.

“This is yet another great example of the trucking industry coming together to give back to its communities” said Pete Dalmazzi of T4C, which has organized the event.

Teams of employees from Liberty Linehaul, MacKinnon Transport, Mill Creek Motor Freight, TransPro, Bison Transport, Erb Transport, Midland Transport and Trailer Wizards will help work on a Habitat for Humanity build site in Waterloo, all while trying to raise $10,000 to support the program, which helps provide assistance to families needing a ‘hand up, not a hand-out’ and realize their dream of home ownership.
