CALGARY, Alta. — The Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) is among a coalition of provincial associations putting on a health and safety conference later this year.

The conference is slated to take place in Edmonton from Nov. 19 to 21, and will feature a number of high-profile keynote speakers and exhibitors.

The focus of the conference will be the best practices in occupational health and safety and it will provide current information relevant to the trucking industry, and others.

This will be the first such conference, and it will be operated on a break-even basis at an affordable cost for delegates.
