AMTA schedules annual general meeting

RED DEER, Alta. — The 2002 Annual General Meeting of the Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) is taking place Apr. 30 in Red Deer.

The agenda includes elections to several prominent positions on the board of directors.

Three regional directors will be elected at regional meetings during April, in the regions of Calgary, Northeast and Central. Each member will also have the opportunity to vote for one director in one region.

Two directors at large and the president-elect will also be elected at the annual general meeting.

Things get under way at 10 a.m. at the Capri Hotel in Red Deer. For more information, call the AMTA at 403-243-4161.
