APTA hosting information sessions

MONCTON, N.B. — The Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association (APTA) will host sessions dealing with DOT Facility Audits and U.S./Atlantic Region Demerit Point Systems (carrier profiles).

The first session is designed to better help carriers understand the process of being audited and will also touch on the safety ratings being established as per the U.S. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

The second session will focus on the U.S./Atlantic Region Demerit Point System.

The seminar will take place next week on May 6-7. The cost is $100 for APTA members and $125 for non-members and will be held at the Beausejour Hotel in Moncton, N.B.
