Armour’s Gaudet awarded at CFMS, 19 years after his father

TORONTO, Ont. – Mike Gaudet of Armour Transportation Systems out of Moncton, N.B. was named Canadian Fleet Maintenance Manager of the Year April 13.

The announcement was made during the Canadian Fleet Maintenance Summit at Toronto’s International Centre, and a choked up Gaudet harkened back to the influence of his father, who also won the award in 1997.

“To have two winners of this award in 20 years really says something about the company,” Gaudet said, as his father also was part of Armour. “We’ve had arguments, but I’ve learned a lot from him along the way.”

Gaudet thanked all of his co-workers, saying, “It truly is a team effort at Armour.”
