Arrow offers 30-day powertrain warranty on used trucks

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 12, 2003) — Arrow Truck Sales, a leading pre-owned truck dealership with locations in the United States and Canada, announced a new warranty program that provides 30 days of coverage on the engine, transmission, and rear end on all 1996 and newer trucks it sells.

Additionally, coverage will extend to the radiator, ECM, and turbocharger on all 1999 and newer units, the company said.

“This is an opportunity for Arrow to prove to our customers that we will stand behind the trucks we sell,” said Lee Wallace, senior vice president of field operations. “With this program, Arrow will lead the used-truck industry by offering protection to our customers against costly engine and transmission failures for the first 30 days, with no deductible.” Extended wear-out warranties are also available on most trucks

In support of this new 30-day warranty program, Arrow is implementing a reconditioning process for trucks at all of its sales facilities. Their pre-owned units will be inspected and reconditioned, including interior and exterior detailing and mechanical inspections.

Headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., Arrow Truck Sales began business in 1950 as a small used-truck dealer. Today, it has an inventory of more than 3,000 medium-duty and heavy-duty trucks, and Canadian locations in Toronto and Calgary. Arrow Truck Sales is a subsidiary of Volvo Group.
