Atlas Cold Storage, RMX form logistics alliance

TORONTO (Oct. 16, 2001) — Atlas Cold Storage said it has established an alliance with RMX Global Logistics of Evergreen, Colo., to provide temperature-controlled warehousing and transportation in the United States and Canada.

RMX is a non-asset based provider of temperature-controlled transportation management services to the food industry. It has 11 offices throughout the United States and over 30 agent offices worldwide

Atlas is one of North America’s largest temperature-controlled third party logistics firms with 33 facilities and over 120 million cubic feet in the United States and Canada.

“RMX and ATLAS are a perfect fit bringing expertise from two different perspectives, sharing critical information and using extensive industry experience to maximize value for the client,” said RMX CEO Bill Henderson.

RMX works with over 3000 trucking operations with in excess of 100,000 tractors and trailers, as well as web-based management solutions that fully integrate with Atlas information systems.
