Autocar names Canadian sales manager

UNION CITY, Ind. (Nov. 13, 2002) — Autocar, maker of the Xpeditor line of low-cab-over-engine trucks, has appointed Bill Cummins sales manager for Canada.

Cummins will be responsible for facilitating Xpeditor truck sales at the dealer and national account levels, and for dealer development and body-builder relations in the Canadian market.

Autocar said it will realign its U.S. sales force by transferring responsibility for Canadian customers — who are currently being served by U.S.-based regional sales managers — to Cummins.

Cummins will be based in Calgary. He has more than 20 years of experience in refuse, construction, and other vocational markets, Autocar said, and was the top Xpeditor truck salesperson in Canada while consistently ranking as one of the top OEM engine salesmen.
