VANCOUVER, B.C. — The National Professional Truck Driving Championship results are in and a host of new winners have been crowned with Saskatchewan dominating the pack.
The event, held Sept. 13 to 16 at Freightliner of Vancouver, featured provincial winners from coast-to-coast.
Taking top honors were: Keith Parker, Purolator, Saskatchewan, step van; Larry Radons, Reimer Express, Saskatchewan, straight truck; Michel Roy, Groupe Robert, Quebec, single-single; Harvey Gording, Reimer Express, Saskatchewan, single-tandem; John Broker, Martin Brower of Canada, B.C., tandem-tandem; Robert Granger, SLH Transport, Saskatchewan, train.
Radons was deemed the grand champion while Granger took rookie honors. Team Saskatchewan received the National Team Award.
