Canadian suppliers receive Freightliner awards
PORTLAND, Ore. (May 9, 2003) — Four Canadian companies were part of 40 suppliers honoured by Freightliner LLC for the highest standards of quality in providing parts and components to Freightliner, Sterling, Western Star, American LaFrance, and Thomas Built Buses vehicles.
The Canadian locations that received the 2003 Masters of Quality award were Fontaine Fifth Wheel of Canada in Mississauga, Ont.; Accuride Corp. in London, Ont.; St. Thomas, Ont.-based Canada Flexalloy, Inc.; and Marine Plastics Ltd. in Langley, B.C.
