MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Freightliner has parted company with its long-time Canadian vice-president, John Cecconi.

“John (Cecconi) was always the ‘survivor’ in the Canadian industry,” says Ontario fleet manager. “If he chooses to go in another direction, his presence in this business will be missed.”

Cecconi was unavailable to discuss his exact plans. The truckmaker has been in the midst of a massive housecleaning of late, and the official word is a replacement will be named in the near future.
