TOLEDO, Ohio — The Greater Memphis Association for Quality (GMAQ) has awarded Dana’s Chelsea Power Take-Off (PTO) facility in Olive Branch, Miss. with the Pyramid of Excellence Award.

This is coupled with the Level III Quality Leadership award GMAQ already presented to the company, which was honored to receive the two highest levels of quality recognition presented by the association.

“It should be pointed out that the Pyramid of Excellence Award is not an annual award, but one that is presented only when specific qualifying criteria have been met,” says Kathy Reiter, human resources administrator in Olive Branch. “So we were especially pleased with this achievement.”

The Chelsea PTO facility in Olive Branch offers a full line of auxiliary power equipment and is the largest producer of PTO’s in the world. The facility employs 117 people and offers services that include design engineering, technical services, manufacturing, assembly and distribution. The company has been serving the vocational truck market since 1945, with the broadest coverage in the industry and is distributed worldwide through a unique distribution network.
