DEBERT, N.S. — The Soley Factory bridge near Debert will be rebuilt in the spring.

The 20-metre span, approximately 60 years old, collapsed Jan. 6 as a Transportation Department snowplow was making its way across.

A passenger in the plow suffered a couple of broken ribs in the incident, but the driver was uninjured. The collapse remains under investigation.

The single-lane, wood-decked, steel bridge is 10km west of Truro.
