Conference to teach the retention of quality drivers

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The second of a three-part series of audio conferences on how to retain a quality pool of drivers will take place on Mar. 27.

Nationally known speaker Dan Baker will talk about how a trucking company is put together and why the “nature of the beast” causes problems.

Baker will look at the interaction between the three major entities in a trucking company — the customer, the company and the driver.

The workshop will also demonstrate how to depersonalize conflicts, look for priority conflict, watch for environmental pollution and develop other thinking habits to deal with systems instead of personalities.
