CTHRC to host 2002 symposium in Toronto

TORONTO, Ont. — The Canadian Trucking Human Resource Council (CTHRC) is hosting its annual Symposium at the Wyndham Hotel in Toronto this year.

The event will take place between June 14 and 16 and will focus on Retaining Your Most Important Assets People make it Work. Also covered will be a keynote theme of ‘Attracting and Retaining Drivers: What Works for Canada’s Trucking Industry.’

A panel discussion entitled ‘Challenges Past, present and future in the Trucking Industry’ will take place, followed by five practical workshops. Finally, the symposium will wrap up with a presentation called ‘A Province’s Solution to Standards’ which will address how industry and government are working together to set standards and why a National Standard Program is needed.
