DALHOUSIE, N.B. — A new report issued by the Dalhousie Regional Transportation Commission warns a local authority not to take over the port of Dalhousie.

The report indicates that the port is too contaminated, and whoever does take it over will be at risk of lawsuits because of contaminants that may become exposed.

"It wasn’t what we were expecting but we accept their findings," Dalhousie Mayor James Blanchard tells media.
