Dalton Timmis makes donation to help Fort Mac evacuees

ANCASTER, Ont. — Dalton Timmis Insurance is joining the long list of businesses within the transportation industry that are donating money to Red Cross help the victims of the Fort McMurray wildfire.

Dalton Timmis Insurance is donating a total of $13,172. These funds were raised by staff, by Dalton Timmis matching donations dollar for dollar, plus a donation from one of its insurance partners, Unica Insurance. 

“With Dalton Timmis having customers in Fort McMurray and the surrounding areas, we’re getting calls from people who have lost everything or been severely impacted by the wildfire,” said Brandon Clark of Dalton Timmis. “Whether it’s a home, car, commercial business or transportation company, everyone in the area is being impacted and this donation is another way we can help those in need.”
