DAT offers Internet access to DAT Partners

PORTLAND, Ore. (Oct. 23, 2000) — Load-matching giant DAT Services launched of a Web-based version of DAT Partners, which allows electronic access to the DAT database over a virtual private network.

The new service allows DAT Partners customers to access the company’s load and truck database using normal Internet connections.

DAT Partners includes a business directory, online credit reports and DAT Lanemakers, historical lane activity and information for the past 12 months. DAT Partners on the Internet also can notify users of load matches in real time.

DAT Partners Internet version is currently available for single-user locations, with a multi-user version to be released soon. DAT Services also offers a browser-based freight-matching service, DATinternet, to owner-operators.
