Date set for National Trucking Week 2002

OTTAWA, Ont. — The Canadian Trucking Alliance in conjunction with the provincial trucking associations have announced National Trucking Week 2002 will take place from Sept. 22-29.

The week-long celebration recognizes the important contributions made by the 400,000 Canadian men and women who keep the country’s freight moving.

Provincial trucking associations, carriers, industry suppliers and other stakeholders are encouraged to undertake activities in their own province to mark the event

In 2002 National Trucking Week will coincide with Truck World 2002 (Sept. 26, 27 and 28, National Trade Centre, CNE Grounds, Toronto) operated in association with the Canadian Trucking Alliance.
