Delek buys convenience stores

TULSA, Okla. — Delek Services has purchased 198 U.S. convenience stores from Williams Express, but the company’s truck stops have been left out of the deal.

Delek Services — a subsidiary of an Israeli fuel corporation — purchased the stores for US$147 million plus additional amounts for fuel inventory, merchandise and supplies.

Williams will keep its travel centre operations that deal with professional drivers, business travelers, vacationing families, tour groups, recreational vehicle travelers and local residents.
