FITCHBURG, Ma. — After a rigorous evaluation and selection process, Delphi chose Chevin’s FleetWave to meet its unique vehicle and asset management requirements.

Using FleetWave, the industry’s first web-based fleet management information system, Delphi will enable it’s employees to use My Delphi, the employee Intranet portal, to access pertinent fleet related data and reporting on a real time basis.

Delphi will use FleetWave to capture and manage diverse fleet operating details, such as fleet utilization, short and long-term vehicle assignments, vehicle procurement and remarketing, personal and business mileage, risk management details and pool car assignments.

Additionally, it will enable the company to gain control over the ever-changing up-fitted engineering equipment installed on the Delphi evaluation vehicles. In order to improve the management of internal processes, FleetWave will be integrated with a myriad of Delphi’s operating systems to enable streamlined acquisition, assignment and third party management of their global fleet.

"And most importantly," said Ron Katz, Vice President of North American Sales for Chevin, "FleetWave’s enterprise vehicle asset management capabilities will eliminate Delphi’s multiple databases, excessive manual data entry and dramatically improve vehicle management, asset utilization and cost controls."
