WARREN, Ohio — Delphi Automotive Systems says over-the-road truck seats will be the first application of its Duraswitch switch technology.

Delphi says National Seating, a company with which it recently entered into an agreement, will manufacturer between 180,000 and 200,000 seats featuring the technology.

Duraswitch’s technology addresses a number of issues pertinent to consumers and OEMs alike, including flat-panel, slim-profile designs; high durability and reliability; sealability against harsh environments; illumination capabilities, and ergonomic, user-friendly interfaces.
