Driver abstracts available through AMTA

CALGARY, Alta. — The Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) has resumed offering its abstract service to members, effective immediately.

The AMTA will be working in conjunction with a registries office to pull abstracts for its members. Interested fleets are required to send requests to the AMTA by fax, email or mail, including current driver information.

The AMTA also requires a contract with all companies and a signed driver consent form. If an abstract request is urgent, it should be labeled as such and it will be quickly processed.

Abstracts will cost members $12 through the AMTA, while non-members will be charged $14 per abstract. The association says the increased cost is aimed at covering a cost incurred from the registry depot.

For more information, or to request an abstract, fax Kim Deakin at 403-243-4610 or email her at kimd1@amta.ca.
