EASTERN STRETCH OF 401 TO BE SLOW THIS SUMMER

BROCKVILLE, Ont. — The Ontario government is spending $973,148 to replace and upgrade guardrails and bridge pier barriers along Hwy. 401 — near Mallorytown Rd. and County Road 2.

The contract was awarded to Peninsula Fence and Landscaping of Fonthill, Ont.

The project, funded using the province’s $20-billion SuperBuild fund, is scheduled to start in mid-May and end by mid-August.
