KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Eaton Corp. has teamed up with Matco Tools, to expand the availability of its new Eaton MD Mobile Diagnostic service tools.

Matco, based in Stow, Ohio, and its more than 1,500 distributors will now provide truck technicians with convenient means to purchase the Eaton MD tool.

In addition, Eaton now provides quality Matco hand tools and Matco tool kits through their Web site, www.roadrangerstore.com. Matco markets and delivers a variety of products and services to the Class 6-8 trucking industry, including hand tools, air tools, tool storage, shop equipment, engine service, chassis service, as well as diagnostic service and tool kits.

Eaton introduced the MD Tool in March with the MD-200 series, which simultaneously monitors a host of vehicle components, including engine and powertrain components, for all makes and models of trucks in North America. In July, Eaton expanded the MD lineup with the introduction of the MD-300 series software that enables PCs to quickly diagnose commercial vehicle electronic systems via SAE J1587 diagnostic link and a unique Windows-based intuitive graphical interface.
