MONTREAL, Que. — Elyps Dispatch Solutions has teamed up with Datacom to distribute its line of sophisticated machine-to-machine vehicle data management systems.

Elyps will carry and service Datacom’s Mobilus, Optimum, Mobilus Celsius and Mobilus Echo systems products designed to give fleet managers and dispatchers detailed real-time information on the operation of vehicles.

"Together with our digital KONTROL network and our KONTAK network, this distribution agreement with Datacom is a sure sign that Elyps is the ultimate customized dispatch solution provider," says Elyps president and chief executive officer, Robert Bourgault. "Datacom’s unrivalled technology as well as its strategic alliances with key industry beacons around the world makes them an ideal partner."

Datacom was equally thrilled with the agreement. The company’s president, Paul-Andre Savoie, says "This strategic partnership has two key advantages. Firstly, we will benefit from Elyps’ extensive knowledge of the dispatch marketSecondly, we will leverage our sales and marketing infrastructure, and Elyps’ customers will eventually be able to take advantage of the integration of our wireless Internet fleet management services with their existing radio-communications products."
