Montreal, Que. — Elyps Dispatch Solutions has a new distribution deal with Laval-based Datacom securing the sole rights of the firm’s machine to machine vehicle data management systems.

The agreement will give Elyps the sole right to the machine to machine (M2M) vehicle data management systems to the Canadian dispatch market.

The company will offer its clients a comprehensive package of voice and data services and will carry and service Datacom’s Mobilus Optimum, Mobilus Celsius and Mobilus Echo systems.

“Together with our digital KONTROL network and our KONTAK network, this distribution agreement with Datacom is a sure sign that Elyps is the ultimate customized dispatch solution provider,” says Elyps Dispatch Solutions’ president and chief executive officer, Robert Bourgault.

“This strategic partnership has two key advantages,” says Datacom’s president and CEO Paul-Andre Savoie. “Firstly, we will benefit from Elyps’ extensive knowledge of the dispatch market and the strength of its distribution network supported by 13 branches across Canada. Secondly, we will leverage our sales and marketing infrastructure, and Elyps’ customers will eventually be able to take advantage of the intergration of our wireless Internet fleet management services with their existing radio communications products.”
