ELYPS LAUNCHES TWO NEW RADIO DISPATCH NETWORKS

MONTREAL, Que. — Elyps Dispatch Solutions, Canada’s largest specialized mobile radio service and network provider, now offers two new Logic Trunk Radio (LTR) networks for Quebec and Ontario.

With this expansion, Elyps now boasts the widest coverage area for these two major markets.

Elyps’ latest KONQUEST network uses the LTR Trunking Protocol, a proven dispatch technology that offers users instantaneous and private calls. The networks will operate in the 400 MHz band for the province of Quebec, with a coverage area of approximately 55,000 square-km.

In Montreal and southern Ontario the network operates in the 800 MHz band.

Elyps now provides tailor-made communications solutions for the commercial market with benefits including wide-area portable and mobile coverage, superior voice quality, instant access due to the large number of Elyps frequencies, and flexible call configurations.
